Ohioans for Sustainable Change DC fly-in on Climate Action-March 8-9, 2017
Rev. Meribah Mansfield and Rev. Dr. Tony Minor represented Ohioans for Sustainable Change Washington DC fly-in on March 8-9th. They met with Senator Brown’s and Senator Portman’s offices and House Representatives urging them to defend the Clean Air Act and the EPA authority to regulate carbon, methane, and other heat-trapping climate pollution.

A Call for Dialogue and Prayer
It was a beautiful day in Columbus as persons of faith from around Ohio came to the Statehouse to show support for a clean energy future. Nearly two hundred were present on the Statehouse lawn for the Rally and over sixty-five legislative visits were made expressing the need for Ohio to move forward on clean energy and “Unfreeze Ohio’s Clean Energy Standards”.click here for more information.

OHIO'S MORAL MOVEMENT RALLY (October 2014)
A broad cross-section of Ohio clergy and people of faith held a prayer rally on the South Side of the Ohio Statehouse to oppose the flood of divisive legislation enacted by the Ohio state legislature. They prayed for legislators to pursue an inclusive, moral agenda and raise up these issues to encourage voters to hold their elected officials accountable.
Jerrod Howard a Seminary Student from Trinity Lutheran Seminary shared why environmental protection is part of the moral movement.
